LINE MECHANIC COMPETITION

THREE EXCITING DAYS OF COMPETITIONS!

The competitions are a showcase of the skills, training, and knowledge which line mechanics and cable jointers rely on every day to keep power flowing to homes and businesses around New Zealand. Importantly, they allow companies to benchmark their standards of workmanship against other companies and industry regulatory standards.

As a company entering competitors, the competitions are the perfect platform for you to showcase the talent within your organisation and recognise your staff for the skills they use every day.

For more information about entering the competition please contact Hillary Riches, Event Manager.

PREMIER SPONSOR - LINE MECHANIC COMPETITION

As premier sponsor of the Line Mechanic competition, TransNet would like to extend a very warm welcome to everyone involved.  2023 brings us to a new location in the deep south, and with it a strong contingent of teams to vie for the Line Mechanic Competition title.  This event can only happen with the commitment from the employers, the drive & desire from the competitors and of course the exceptional organisation by the dedicated committee and Connexis.

TransNet, a 100% kiwi owned business has sponsored this event for more than 20 years and is committed to fostering growth, innovation, and success within our industry; we believe that events like this are pivotal in achieving these goals. This event provides a platform to display your talents, push boundaries, and inspire others, something that we also endeavour to achieve daily with our commitment to delivering high quality goods and after sales support to all our customers consistently even in the face of adverse environmental conditions.

Annual Connection has become an icon; a platform for our industry to showcase the best people, safety, work practices, teamwork and equipment available.  And while the winners will be rewarded, we’re sure all participants and their employers will gain from being a part of this exceptional event.

This year the competition is looking stronger than ever, and that’s testament to the value our industry sees in this event.  We would like to wish all the competitors across both competitions the very best of luck, and would like to acknowledge their employers for the commitment they have made in giving their employees the opportunity to take part.
