Broadspectrum have an excellent opportunity for 2 fully qualified and experienced lines mechanic to be part of our team in Christchurch and Timaru.

You will be working closely with experienced linesmen and will have the opportunity to learn from them.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a fulltime permanent position. There is away from home work predominantly within the South Island but can also be nationwide.
The Broadspectrum South Island Lines team maintains the Transpower network on the east coast of the south Island from Oamaru in the south to Blenheim in the north. The network consists of pole and tower lines from 66kv to 110kv and tower lines from 220kv to the 350kv DC inter island link. These lines traverse a variety of terrain such as the Canterbury Plains, the South Island High Country and the Marlborough Sounds.
You will need to have good communication skills, be flexible towards work hours and location, happy working in the outdoors in isolated locations and be a team player keen on producing quality work to our valued Clients.
