This is an opportunity to work within our Control Systems team, designing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring the automation and data acquisition systems of water treatment plant processes, reservoirs and pump stations.

You will ensure all water treatment plants and pump stations control in a robust and reliable manner. Your ability to think laterally and innovatively will help you to respond to emergency events if necessary including urgent control and telemetry equipment failures.

You will have ideally five or more years’ experience with industrial control, telemetry and instrumentation equipment, and demonstrate knowledge and experience in the operation of water treatment/distribution equipment and control systems.

You’ll be a demonstrated team player with great communication skills (both verbal and written), self-motivated and keen to learn in a growing industry.

Along with your passion for technology, can-do attitude and customer focused approach, you’ll have the following:

  • A tertiary degree or diploma in electrical engineering, controls, mechatronics or be a registered electrician or service technician
  • Ideally at least five years’ industrial experience, so that you can work independently to solve complex problems
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills
  • Proven understanding of computer networks, SCADA and PLC programming
