A management decision to have a strong emphasis on training and developing staff has paid off for Cranswick Enterprises Ltd who continue to grow as a business.

From employing just four staff around 5-6 years ago to currently employing 18 staff on the contracting side, Cranswick Enterprises recognises the skills of their workers as critical to continue to grow and be successful.

“These latest five graduates of Level 3 Forestry Earthworks brings our total graduate number to 11. Next year, we look to put another five through the new qualification, which is Level 4 Forestry Earthworks”.

“This qualification provides the clients that we service, with the confidence that the staff are trained for the task, and fully conversant with what is required in this modern working environment” says Managing Director of Cranswick Enterprises, Kim Cranswick.

“Some staff initially were reluctant taking on new learning, but the feeling of satisfaction and reward outweighed the task”.

Having ongoing support from Connexis Customer Service Account Manager, Grant Radovanovich really helped to keep everyone on track.

“The way the staff are trained through Connexis on-job training programme, the guys develop a real appreciation for their work and the environment” says Kim Cranswick.

A big thank you must also go to Trainer and Assessor, Tama Koia, who is a huge part of the process.
