Funding for Infrastructure Industry Training enrolments is now available from today, 01 July.


In the midst of all the change and challenge of responding to COVID 19, Connexis is here to help you navigate the funding options for apprenticeships and training. At its simplest that may just mean we’re not charging you any fees. Depending on the criteria, we may also be able to guide you towards other avenues to access funding. We recognise the many stresses you’re under, so please let us lighten the load when it comes to sorting your training costs and funding processes. – Toby Beaglehole, CE.

THE TARGETED TRAINING AND APPRENTICESHIP FUND (TTAF) covers apprenticeship and training fees normally paid by the employer or trainee, such as enrolment fees and compulsory training costs.This fund commences 01 July 2020 and ends 31 December 2022.

Employer Funding Support  is available for those employers taking on new employees and training apprentices through the following three programmes:

  • The Apprentices Boost Initiative
  • Mana in Mahi Programme
  • Regional Apprenticeships initiative
