ANNUAL CONNECTION INFRASTRUCTURE CAREER PATHWAYS EXPO

Annual Connection is a three-day competition and event, bringing Cable Jointers and Line Mechanics together from across New Zealand to compete and demonstrate their skills and expertise. 

We are pleased to invite high-school students ages 14 years + to join in on the action.  Come see the crews that keep NZ connected, up-close in action, and learn about career and apprenticeship opportunities in this exciting industry. 

What to expect at the Careers Insight Session:  

  • Meet local Electricity Supply employers to learn about career pathways and opportunities

  • Meet and hear from ambassadors working in the industry

  • Get a tour of the competition arena where the Line Mechanics and Cable Jointers are working

  • Get a sense of the industry and work with a hands-on activity
